Josh and I were asked way back last year to photograph this wedding – I told Lauren I didn’t normally shoot weddings, but she said she wanted us to, and since she’s family and I love that whole side of the family, of course I agreed to do it! I was very nervous about shooting another wedding – it’s a long day, I don’t do it all the time so I’m not always 100% comfortable with it, and my two older girls were in the wedding, so I was a little bit afraid of it being so overwhelming!
Well, none of the above fears applied – it was such a laid back chill day, with a smaller wedding, only family was in the wedding party, there were dogs involved, and these two were the absolute cutest and sweetest and dealt with me awkwardly posing them in the summer heat! I couldn’t be happier with these photos – and I hope they are too! The venue was absolutely stunning and had so much personality and quirkiness involved – the flowers were beautiful, the food was delicious and it was all decorated to perfection. The band was absolutely amazing too! The reception was so much fun and was such a huge party!
